VelaHema

Load it right.
Clear the driver.
Dispatch the truck.

VelaHema puts the 3D load plan, the driver and vehicle checks, and the dispatch board in one place, so a load leaves the dock only after the plan fits and the records are current.

$399 per company per month. Every company is reviewed before its workspace opens.

From the bill of lading to the delivery receipt

Four steps every load goes through, each checked on the server before it can move on.

  1. Plan the freight in 3D

Enter the lines from the BOL. VelaHema arranges pallets, crates, drums or cartons in the actual trailer, checks overlap, height, door clearance and payload, and estimates steer, drive and tandem weights before anything is loaded.

  2. Assign a driver who can legally take it

Assignment runs the driver and vehicle checks on the server: license and medical card dates, endorsements for the cargo, hours available, open defects and out-of-service units. A failed hard stop blocks the assignment and says why.

  3. Sign off at the dock, then release

The loader records the seal, scale weights and securement. Dispatch runs every check again just before release, so a record that expired this morning still stops the truck.

  4. Track the truck and what is on it

Drivers share location from the driver app. Click a truck to see exactly which loads it carries, in route order, with pickups before deliveries.

Checks you can read, with the rule they come from

Every result is one of four states. Each line names the regulation, links to the official text and shows which rule version produced it.

  • Pass The record you entered meets the rule.
  • Fail A hard stop. The load cannot be assigned or dispatched until it is fixed.
  • Review A qualified person records a decision and the evidence they checked.
  • Data missing VelaHema never guesses. Missing data is shown, not assumed.

Compliance assistance, not certification. VelaHema checks the records your company enters. It does not query government systems, and state rules differ.

How security works

Questions

Does VelaHema make my company DOT compliant?

No software can. VelaHema checks the records you enter against a versioned set of federal rules and shows the citation for each result. It flags what is missing or expired and blocks assignment or dispatch on hard stops. Your company remains responsible for compliance, and anything marked for review needs a qualified person.

Which rules are covered?

Driver qualification dates (license, medical certificate, MVR review, Clearinghouse query), CDL class and endorsements for the cargo, hours of service from the duty status you record, vehicle inspections and defects, payload and axle estimates, hazmat marking and placard prompts, and cargo securement minimums. State rules are flagged for review unless your company marks a state as reviewed.

Is the hours-of-service number my legal record?

No. VelaHema calculates available hours from the duty status entered in the app for planning. The driver's ELD record is the legal record. Sleeper-berth splits and other exceptions are not calculated.

How does the 3D plan get axle weights?

It estimates them from the arrangement, the tandem position and empty weights you enter. Estimates are labeled. Weigh on a certified scale before departure.

Does it need special hardware or paid map services?

No. Drivers share location from a phone browser. Maps, road routing and address search can run on your own servers with open-source software; without them, VelaHema uses clearly labeled straight-line estimates.

How does billing work?

$399 per company per month, billed through Stripe. Cancel any time from the billing page; access continues to the end of the paid period, and your data stays exportable.

Can I resell VelaHema to other companies?

No. Each subscription is a license for one company and its own employees and drivers. Reselling, sublicensing or sharing a workspace with another company is not allowed.
